Indie rock singer song-writer Lomelda (Hannah Read) shares collaboration with experimental composer More Eaze (Mari Maurice. 'Scaredy's World' is a slow-burning slice of melancholic indie pop, steadily paced guitar and drums are gradually surrounded by a shimmering swarm of processed vocals and electronic textures courtesy of More Eaze, who describes working with Read as "a dream... The more we’ve worked together, the more I’ve truly felt that we are often trying to say the same things in our music but in different ways/with different tools. “Scaredy’s World” is somewhat of a literal manifestation of this as I wrote words/sang with Hannah’s own processed glossolalia and felt our voices and our ideas merging into one." Released by Hannah's newly founded Double Yolk House, a label to release her own music and also other artists, with a focus on artist led decision making and prioritising the joy of making music, here she describes it in her own words: "I started this thing called Double Yolk Record House to shelter my experiments in making and sharing music.
